How to build
Everything you need to stack, edit, and save in Snapy Brick.
Placing bricks
- Choose a brick from the palette, then tap an empty stud on the grid.
- Tap the top of a brick to stack; tap a side face to extend outward.
- Use Stack ↑ in Actions to add a brick above the last one without tapping the canvas.
Support rule
- New bricks need at least half their footprint resting on the ground or bricks directly below.
- If your tap is unsupported, Snapy may place the brick at the nearest valid spot and show "Placed nearby — not enough support where you tapped".
Move, rotate, color, delete
- Footer controls always affect one brick: the last one you placed while building, or the one you have selected in select mode.
- Move, Turn, Delete, and Color work without entering select mode — they target your last placed brick.
- Stack ↑ adds a new brick above that same target brick in either mode.
Select brick mode
- Tap "Select Brick" on the canvas to stop placing new bricks when you tap the grid.
- Tap any brick to select it. Tap empty space to select the nearest brick instead.
- Move the selected brick with the footer pad or arrow keys; Q and E rotate it; Delete removes it.
- Press Escape or Done to return to build mode. Footer controls always target your selected brick in select mode.
Quick build shortcuts
- Q / E — rotate the last placed brick while building, or the selected brick in select mode.
- Space — place the ghost preview at your cursor (build mode only).
- Delete — remove the last placed brick while building, or the selected brick in select mode.
- Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y — undo and redo. The Undo and Redo buttons in the footer work too.

- Save at the top saves your bricks to the cloud. Update title in Build settings saves the name only.
- Reset build keeps one starting red brick and can be undone with Ctrl+Z or the Undo button.
- Deleting bricks one at a time can leave an empty grid; Reset returns you to the default starting brick instead.
